Rich Robinson (Visual Artist)
Originally from Florida, I have lived in Ohio since 2004 and fell in love with the Columbus Arts scene. Naturally curious and a fan of diving deep into whatever tweaks my interest, I decided in 2012 to try painting. Continually growing in technique and inspiration, my paintings tend to include bold line and colors. I'm attracted to natural forms and often marry tentacles, horns, and skulls with flowing symmetry, symbol, and the ever-guiding third eye.
GROW ~ EVOLVE ~ EXCEL
As a self-taught artist, I am continually learning more as I go; both in craft and about the things I paint. I've enjoyed pushing myself, participating in Franklinton's "Scrawl" and getting out of my acrylic comfort zone with "Inktober".
Outside of my work, I am a huge fan of indulging all my curiosities; falling down the internet rabbitholes to research my next subject, podcasts on anything and everything, a sublimely eclectic Spotify playlist, tattoos, other artists, all of the food, drinks, and the occasional streaming binge.
